Ingredients
- 1.5 c. sugar
- 2 c. water
- 1 c. vinegar
- 1 bell pepper
- 1 onion
- 1 c. catsup
- 2 tbsp. corn starch
Directions
- Cook vegetables together in medium sauce pan.
- Stir in sugar, water, vinegar, and catsup.
- Add corn starch and cook until good consistency.
For a nice meal bread and fry some chicken pieces and serve over fried rice.

I made this substituting Splenda for the sugar and rice vinegar for the plain vinegar. It didn't have as strong a "bite" but the because the rice vinegar is less acidic but the sweetness was good.
